I think they were ALL murders. The jury convicted him for 3 of them. Unless there is some slick maneuvering in the penalty phase, Gosnell could still get the death penalty.
Unfortunately in PA, a death sentence is seldom carried out. Gosnell could live out his life in prison and die of natural causes.
