It’s a win/win situation.

As Kissinger said during the Iran/Iraq war, “too bad they can’t both lose.”

Yes but one side with a billion more adherents than the other side wants to expand their religion and political system to the entire globe. The sunnis subjugate people in their own countries. Iran and shiites are more lenient in that respect and do not have a desire to spread the religion. This is easily seen by the fact that there are christian and jewish iranians, churches in iran and synagogues in iran as well as christian and jewish Members of parliament in iran.
Its a no brainer that shiite islam is less radical than sunni islam, and that sunni islam has an agenda to spread sunni islam globally, in specific wahabist and salafist versions.
This guy leading these protests is well known and is a psychopath, just youtube his name and he gladly speaks about what his type of people wish on the world. He is deluded to the point where he believes its justified by god to force conversion and make all lands muslim and if u do not convert u are treated as a lesser human and if u do not accept this then you die.
Saudi arabia is the enemy here and i dont understand why we supply these sunni extremist governments with weapons and aid and are supporting their conquest of muslim countries that are secular in nature.
Hezbollah is nothing, the conflict is political in nature and not religious. Hezbollah has no problem with jewish people the leader has said so many times. A political problem can be solved and/or dealt with militarily at a later date, but an ideological problem that sunni wahabist salafist islam poses is not a problem that can be solved unless those in charge are removed.

This brings me to my main point:

The best way to accomplish this is by backing shiite islam against the sunnis(quietly or openly) or at the very least not backing sunni islam. Currently we are clearly backing sunni islam, based on us supplying known terrorists in syria against bashar al assad. Terrorists who have even claimed they will move to Lebanon afterwards to wage war there.
Its one thing to fantasize about nuking them all but it isnt a realistic scenario. Backing a less radical version against a more radical version is the way to change the region and their views without any blowback.
