Thanks for that description. I had read something similar earlier today, but this confirms it for me.
I live in a country where MTP and the other Sunday talk programs are not broadcast, so when it is important I rely on freepers’ descriptions of what was said, or youtube excerpts.
FYI, Pickering stated on one of the Sunday shows that he and Mullin had made the determination that it would have taken more than seven hours to get military aid to help Stevens.
