People sense when a “drama” or “comedy” is pure agitprop and bears not even a hint of connection to the real world. In the Soviet Union, people lost interest in “socialist realist” output because they didn’t need more preaching from the State in the form of “art.” They got enough of it from the Politburo as it was.

If TV wants to do a successful rendition of gays, it ought to look into a mini-drama on Jerry Sandusky of Penn State infamy. If done right, I think millions of Americans would be drawn to such a story about how a real gay behaved in the real world, not some slobering crapola about “cute gay couples” (that don’t actually exist in reality) or some such.

nothing like pushing an agenda of the minorities to the majority. Worked out well for you didnt it! Just the name of one of the shows “the new noraml” is arrogance of the highest order. Nice to see America speak! We need to see more of this
