Arguing facts with people who have no science background -- especially in historical geology -- or worse, people who distort science in favor of making political points, is hopeless.

I quote from a piece written by geophysicist David Deming for the Washington Times Weekly:

"Confronted by an endless avalance of...nonsensical drivel, it seems almost foolhardy to argue facts...With each passing year (no increase in mean global temperature for 15 years) it is becoming increasingly clear that global warming is not a scientific theory subject to empirical falsification, but a political ideology that has to be defended against any challenge. It is ironic that skeptics are called 'deniers' when every fact that would tend to falsify global warming is immediately explained away by an industry of denial."

I tell you what really ticks me off are the people making massive amounts of money from this hoax while hard working people get ripped off. Case in point: Al Gore who is now worth $300 million. 3 HUNDRED million! This is a guy whose last weekly paying job was 12 years ago where he made about $220k a year before taxes, and here he is loaded enough to buy and sell TV stations to terrorist propaganda companies. Maybe Al-Jazeera can do a bit on Al when he took bribes from airlines rather than have those airlines beef up security pre-911, and nobody ever calls him on this sh*t, even when he sexually assaulted a masseuse he still walked scot free not to mention walking around drunk half the time.
