Strange that Carney didn’t know much about the story, ostensibly because it had just broken. However, he was aware of the fact that Schulman had been appointed by Bush. Is someone feeding him info in his earpiece as he stands at the podium? Or did he think that obscure factoid would be enough to shut down any dialogue about the matter?
I thought it strange also.
Strange the IRS wasn’t accused of going after people of any stripe for partisan purposes during the Bush years, yet Carney has to mention this factoid. It is therefore meaningless.
