Why Does Russia Support the Syrian Regime
On the surface it appears that it's all about the Money
Thanks...i will read it. Does everyone remember though back during President Bush’s term when all the dems like Nancy Pelosi and John Kerry were constantly going to Syria to suck up to Assad? They seemed to relish in trying to back Syria the whole time Bush was trying to limit Syria’s influence in the region to keep them and Iran from taking advantage of the instability in Iraq. The dems were very adept at undermining every effort in Iraq..they also coddled Quadaffi...did not want Saddam overthrown...etc. Etc.
Now suddenly...the dems hate Assad and want to overthrow him? They ran in to overthrow Quadaffi....Egypt...and on and on. Why the change? What is going on? Seems to me they are just using the whole ‘democracy’ movement to usher in radical Islamist rule all over the Middle East.
