Agreed. I think the media is trying to distract by focusing on the CIA-WH communication. The meme is that the WH was just trying to make sure they had credible information, so how on earth did they go from editing CIA points to a youtube video?
That’s not credible or reconcilable. Then the lie continued. Either they’re astonishingly incompetent or there’s an even uglier scandal underneath all this.

So far as I know, the only things we know for sure about David Rhodes at this point are that he's head of CBS News and he's Ben Rhodes's brother. You could be right about all this, but the all-out condemnation's a little premature.
To get at the uglier scandal we have to find out why Ambassador Stevens was not in the relative safety of the embassy in Tripoli on that significant date.

Given everything we know about CBS going back for decades, it's surprising that Atkisson wasn't silenced long before this.
If she's still following the story and getting airtime, whatever the resistance and rumors, it's an unexpected positive sign.
