The White House scrambled Friday to explain newly released email excerpts that show a top State Department official pushing to water down the intelligence community's initial story-line on the Benghazi attack, as Republicans sharply challenged the administration's honesty.
With new details emerging in the Benghazi-gate controversy, the White House held a background discussion with more than a dozen news organizations. Afterward, Press Secretary Jay Carney weathered a barrage of questions from the media during an at-times awkward White House briefing -- where he tried to defend the truthfulness of his and other officials' prior claims that the initial talking points on the attack reflected the best intelligence assessment of the time.

I just keep thinking about Stevens and the others, waiting ..waiting....hoping to be rescued and probably assuming that they would be...after they sent out the SOS “WE ARE UNDER ATTACK, Greg”.
What their last minutes of life must have been like.
Fear, abandonment, ...in Stevens case, brutal rape and torture. By then, he knew how it would end.
America: the greatest super power in the world and we can’t keep our foreign correpondents, military, ambassador safe....
and all because of the narcissistic, heartless decision by this corrupt regime that their political futures/images trumped all.

Yes, in most cases this is true...but they enjoy watching the “stage play” as they would a soap opera....they want to “see” the show.
I don’t think Jarrett is going anywhere...she knows where all the bodies are buried. Obama will go before Jarrett does.....lol. I predict a full court media press over the weekend to obfuscate,smear and minimize all whistleblowers and charges. They all really think they are going to get away with the worse Abuse Of Power this country has ever known.

I am concerned that the broader points are getting lost in the focus on talking points though....we know they lied. The broader points in my opinion are where was Obama and what were his orders?! I want to see his written orders for that night. Were we running guns to Syria? Did Obama watch those men die and do nothing? Did we have Islamist moles in the WH,CIA or military undermining and sabotaging our efforts?
Keep an eye on McCain. I predicted long ago that if Obama was gun running..McCain’s fingerprints will be on it too. He could ultimately be a huge roadblock to getting the real truth.
