I thought he did time for spousal abuse? Also, isn’t there a story that another neighbor actually kicked the door in? I’m reminded of the homeless “radio voice” guy from last year.

He’s alright. Yes he is. On that day, he stepped up and did the right thing, when it was so much easier to look away and pretend that everything was OK.
Is he perfect? No. But he did the right thing, and that's all that matters here.
