From watching the video, it appears to be an airsoft with the orange tip removed. Just a hunch, but I suspect this guy was trying to provoke a response and got it.
The original airsoft guns didn’t have the red tip.
They were added to reduce “suicide by cop” but that doesn’t seem to work.
