But isn’t that the real question that these hearings have brought to light, taxpayers pay billions of dollars so the Pentagon has fast reaction military options available like the FEST, et.al., but at the very outset every military option was taken off the table even though admittedly no one knew how long the attack would last... The key question is why weren’t these options at least launched? If the media actually did its job then that would be the question that would be demanded a response...
