CONGRESSMEN PROBE RELIGIOUS BIGOT'S INFLUENCE AT PENTAGON
Breitbart ^ | May 7, 2013 | by KEN KLUKOWSKI

Posted on 05/08/2013 3:39:25 PM PDT by Jim Robinson

Following Breitbart News’ reports on the Pentagon collaborating with anti-Christian extremist Mikey Weinstein, which may lead to courts-martial for Christian proselytizing, members of Congress are preparing a letter demanding answers from Secretary of Defense Chuck Hagel. Reps. Doug Lamborn (R-CO) and Republican Study Committee Chairman Steve Scalise (R-LA) are circulating the letter among fellow congressmen. Lamborn discussed the letter and his concerns during an interview with Breitbart News this afternoon.

There is already a provision in federal law, Section 533 of this year’s National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA), that guarantees freedom of religious belief in the military. It does not explicitly reference service members verbally sharing their faith with each other, though such protection can fairly be inferred from the statute’s language.

Lamborn explained, “Congress put Section 533 into law to give [military] chaplains freedom of conscience. There have been indications recently that have made us in Congress question whether the military is fully honoring Section 533.”

The congressman says that right now Congress is “gathering information” about this situation. Regarding this forthcoming letter, Lamborn says it requires Hagel to shed light on the particulars of Weinstein's suggestions:

[Hagel must] tell us, among other things, whether they are working with a liberal organization called the Military Religious Freedom Foundation, which condemns religious proselytizing, and they would like to keep chaplains from carrying out their appropriate responsibilities and duties...

Anyone in the Pentagon working with Mikey Weinstein on this from the very top on down should be fired.

The Obama administration is stuffing every part of government with either radicals, atheist or muslims. More evidence Dingle-Barry is that anti Christ.

Mikey is the one who required removal of those TINY inscriptions on all optical rifle scopes.

He’s affiliated with the SPLC, which inspired the gay pistol attack on the Family Research Countil.

The SPLC also generated a lot of the research that went into the failed sting of OkBomb, which killed a good number of people inside at the time.

Phalanxes of jihadists could be slitting throats while marching down Main Street, Tel Aviv, and Mikey would be pulling crosses off war memorials, cackling with glee.

Wait —I’m REALLLLLY religious, right? Wrong.

Here I go, throwing gas on the fire.

But as I see it, ATHEISM has now elevated itself to a type of RELIGION.

They congregate, they have a belief system, they have all the trappings and hallmarks of an ESTABLISHED religion.

And now, they are trying really hard to become the ONE TRUE RELIGION of the US.

Well just excuuuuse the hell out of me, but the 1st amendment PROHIBITS the government from ESTABLISHING an OFFICIAL RELIGION, EVEN IF THAT RELIGION IS ATHEISM!!

Now, this requires that the gelding pubbies do something bold and daring.

Will NOT hold breath for such a moment.

Atheism is practiced and advocated at ALL LEVELS of government, from the feds right down to the local school districts, all while unconstitutionally prohibiting us the free exercise of OUR religion.

The demomcrats have turned the constitution inside out. It no longer restricts the government. It’s now used to restrict we the people!

I’m with you on that, Atheism is at one extreme end of the religious spectrum. They surely are trying to get themselves established as the state religion.

I emailed the Pentagon last week about this. Their response was a typical press release:

The U.S. Department of Defense has never and will never single out a particular religious group for persecution or prosecution. The Department makes reasonable accommodations for all religions and celebrates the religious diversity of our service members.

Service members can share their faith (evangelize), but must not force unwanted, intrusive attempts to convert others of any faith or no faith to one’s beliefs (proselytization).

If a service member harasses another member on the basis of race, color, sex, religion, national origin, age, or disability, then the commander takes action based on the gravity of the occurrence. Likewise, when religious harassment complaints are reported, commanders take action based on the gravity of the occurrence on a case by case basis.

The Department of Defense places a high value on the rights of members of the Military Services to observe the tenets of their respective religions and respects (and supports by its policy) the rights of others to their own religious beliefs, including the right to hold no beliefs. The Department does not endorse any one religion or religious organization, and provides free access of religion for all members of the military services.

We work to ensure that all service members are free to exercise their Constitutional right to practice their religion — in a manner that is respectful of other individuals’ rights to follow their own belief systems; and in ways that are conducive to good order and discipline; and that do not detract from accomplishing the military mission.

We trust our response meets your needs. Thank you for contacting the Department of Defense.

Little Mikey Weinstein also said although Christians are often evil "fundamentalists" whose discussions of their faith is tantamount to assault and rape, he's never seen any fundamentalist Mozlems, nor any who cause any problems. And recently (wish I could find the article), the Pentagon either hired or is going to hire a group of Mozlem "chaplains" who are associated with the Mozlem Brotherhood.

Anyone wanting on/off either ping list, freepmail me.

You are close,so very close, to “getting” it.

It's also why those people who do not believe in the possibility of the existence of “God”, so readily align themselves with Islamists.

For those people, there is no battle between good and evil. There is just power over their fellow man, and they “believe” they alone can wield it justly, since they alone know the horrible, ugly truth of the meaning of existence.

Naturally, they don't know much about spirituality, human history, human nature or even the basics of physics and metaphysics, but they “believe” their supposedly reasoned unbelief in God, and pointless rage against “unfairness” will lead them to power, and help them to save humanity from religious charlatans, and free the vast majority of misguided human beings from our own individually reasoned opinions on the matter!

The incredible temptation to “react unwisely” they represent to my soul is extremely hard to resist.

But I am holding steadfast, for now.

When the Christians are gone, and the sanctions that constrain some of us who will be left behind are lifted, Jesus will, without any doubt, have left the Earth.

Of those of us who will most likely remain, the least powerfull and most hated by all, will be the atheists, who ushered the end times into being.

That sounds insane if you don't believe one has a soul.

For the vast majority of humanity, it is the simple truth.
