The Associated Press could not very well ignore today's hearing at which whistleblowers are testifying as to the events surrounding the Benghazi attack and the Obama administration's failed response thereto. So AP did the next best thing from its liberal perspective: it downplayed the hearing's significance, casting it as a purely partisan event in its headline as a "GOP hearing."
That is not mere MSM spin: it is blatant journalistic malpractice. This is not some unofficial hearing held under Republican auspices. It is an entirely official hearing before the House Oversight and Government Reform Committee. Yes, there has in recent times been an unofficial House "hearing" held by a political party for partisan purposes. That would be the "hearing" held by Democrats in February, featuring Sandra Fluke.

But when the House DemonRats led by SanFranGranNan held a mock hearing for Sandra F-F-Fluke, it was given full weight of LSMLSD Surrealism. Sanity has left the room.

Standard, corrupt MSM procedure. When Republicans control both the House and Senate the MSM always refers to it as the “Republican-controlled Congress” instead of just “Congress”. Watch that happen again after next November. However, when Democrats contolled both chambers, it was simply “Congress”, not the Democrat controlled Congress.
They do it even now. The Republican controlled House... and the Senate.

I honestly believe that this is a make or break moment in the history of the United States.
The republic can survive a biased media. However, while the media showed new levels of bias during the Clinton and Bush administrations, when the Obama regime “took over,” they morphed into just another arm of the democrat national committee, effectively becoming the “Ministry of Propaganda.”
The US might even survive this, as long as it doesn’t go on too long.
Forget the media malfeasance in all the Obama scandals... The media ignores the piles of Mexicans murdered by the drug cartels, using guns supplied by the Obama regime. Ignore the federal agents murdered with weapons supplied to the drug cartels by the Obama regime. However, when the press refuses to investigate the murder of an Ambassador appointed by the very regime it serves, it has morphed into something new and exceptionally dangerous.
If the media buries this, we’ll know that they’ve become Obama’s “Praetorian Guard.” While we know they’ll go to the mat to defend him, at least for now, they could also begin to force him to play by their rules, should he wish to continue to be President.
I honestly believe that if the media just drops this, that signals the end of the United States of America, and it will be “every man for himself.”
