Rush was telling his listeners that he thought the hearings were in a break or done for the day (this was at least two hours before the 10 minute break in the hearings). But it didn't matter because the hearings weren't being broadcast live by anyone anyway, not even C-SPAN. Then he went right from giving out all of that misinformation to talking about Jason Collins, the gay NBA player...again.
Just wow. For once I'm glad I didn't tune into Rush's show today. He's usually better than that...
I have no idea what Rush was talking about. The hearings have been on C-SPAN3 non-stop since it started around 11:45am ET. There was no indication there would be any "break" until about 3:30pm ET or so, when they actually took a 10 minute break. Rush's show was long over by the time they took a break from the hearing...
Exactly. I sent him a quick email and told him pretty much exactly that...only maybe not as politely as you just did. He’s really lost the plot, and it’s getting worse. He obviously had no clue what was going on with the hearings today. Worse that that, he didn’t seem to care.
