Isn’t the Lib narrative with Newtown “if it only saves one more life, then we must take people’s guns”?
Meanwhile back at the Benghazi Ranch saving ANY lives wasn’t a justification for sending forces to keep Americans from being murdered? So 4 lives are consciously sacrificed.
By the Liberal President.

At work and trying to keep up on phone. If you’re able can you give quick highlights? Somewhere I heard that there were rescuers AT THE SITE and they were told to leave.

Stevens went to Benghazi on September 10, spent the night, met the Turkish diplomat the next day Sept 11.

One would have to know State Department regulations. But the consul may have regulations that the host country must okay (relating to consuls/embassies).
But understand that a foreign embassy must not disclose secrets.
Example: Japanese attack on Pearl Harbor. US had broken the Japanese diplomatic code, and had a heads up, but did not know the target (Pearl Harbor). Conventional wisdom before December 7, 1941 was that the Japanese would attack the Philippines before Pearl Harbor...
So there are a couple of tough issues with embassies/consuls in Injun country (hostile places). One is that information is not leaked. But also that the place will not be overrun.
In the case of Pearl Harbor attack, we decoded the ciphered communication before the Japanese Embassy in DC did.
This allowed the Secretary of State to delay receiving the Japanese ambassador until the attack had been confirmed (reports were coming in to DC before the Japanese ambassador was officially received. The Japanese ambassador was late due to the decoding problems).

this thing is so screwed up. More time should have been given to Gowdy and less to others.

Certainly as best a STUPID comment unworthy of the hearing into American DEATHS. At worst, what you said.

Love the comment from Issa....I’m surprised it wasn’t Connolly offering that request to one of his constituents (re: where do you want to be stationed)?
