My suspicion is that Ariel had his captive and was trying to keep it quiet but then his brothers found out and they wanted in on it and one for each of them. Since the two brothers lived with mama what are the odds that she didn’t find out about it??? Was letting her take care of the 6 year old their way of keeping her quiet???
