Was it common practice to have armed drones?
Were drones armed all the time and this night they were specifically ordered to be unarmed?

you gotta wonder. If people know things and are scared to come forward, this is one way to get it out there. But no way to know if it’s true or a crank.
But it does give an opening to ask the question for congress...who DOES know I’m quite sure. And plays games.

Were drones armed all the time and this night they were specifically ordered to be unarmed? The caller explained that drones operating in Libyan air space were not allowed to be armed.
Whether this restriction was an initiative of the Libyan or the U.S. government wasn't explained -- though I would suspect the latter.
Better question: Why were we operating drones in Libya if we were not expecting, ah, "difficulties"? Do we routinely operate them in all Islamist countries? If not, why not? If so, to what end?

My blind guess is that had they been armed and ingressing from outside Libya then that ONE thing would have required the Prez, and since he had washed his hands of all of it, well, they didn’t get that.
Just a guess.
