I really do believe that the number one concern for team 0bama was getting re-elected. They, and their co-conspirator news media agreed to bury this story and they only needed to do so for 8 weeks until the Nov. 6th election. THEY DIDN'T CARE ABOUT WHAT HAPPENED AFTER NOV. 6TH, BECAUSE THEY'D GET THEIR ELECTION VICTORY AND THAT'S ALL THAT MATTERED TO THEM.

Why didn't 0bama attempt a rescue? He was deathly afraid that a Carter-like failed rescue (Iran hostage crisis botched rescue) negatively impact his re-election as it did Carter, then Reagan won. It would be easier to simply bury the entire event for 8 lousy weeks. Also, a rescue by 0bama would be admission that he was WRONG about Al Qaeda and the WOT!

One of the biggest culprits in this entire affair is the STINKING news media!

But Obama could have had the SpecOps go in, and he and the military could have been the big heroes. If he just wanted a boost he could have done that. Especially since the government that we helped install was actually willing to tell the truth immediately - that this was a terrorist attack. Obama could even have said, “See? The regime we helped install is with us in the war on terror!”

No, I think there had to have been something more going on there. They planned this far in advance - preparing the video to be used as an excuse, refusing security to make sure this could happen, etc.

Before the election, it meant Romney as President, and possibly a GOP Senate.

After the election, the worst case was Biden as President, still keeping the White House in Democrat hands.
