From the article:
In Geneva, former war crimes prosecutor Carla Del Ponte said a U.N. commission has indications that Syrian rebel forces used nerve agent sarin as a weapon in their fight against Assad's regime but no evidence that government forces also used sarin as a chemical weapon.
Very awkward if the al Qaeda-backed rebels are using WMD and the Assad regime is not. Or if both are. The desired narrative is that Assad is a monster and the rebels who fight him are the good guys. If that one becomes hard to sell, Obama will lose some leverage.
History shows that desperate people will use any weapon they have.
What a tangled web. Iran and Obama love the Muslim Bros, but they also love Assad. yikes....
May all 4 rot.
Red Line !
Those people will do whatever they think will help. I wouldn’t be surprised if both sides bought it from the same supplier and are using it against each other.
