There’s an intervening puddle, sure, but in fact Aviano is closer to Bengazi than Tripoli is.

15 min by F-18 for a scary boom or two, and 65 min for an AC-130 for LOTS of booms.

Then there was the team in Croatia, and this was not just SOME day, right? It was the 9-11 anniversary, and how hard it is to get surprised on THAT day?

The admin WANTED those people dead.

It seems like that to me. What ever they were doing there was never suppose to get out to the public.

Fast and Furious was designed to blame Americans for guns in Mexico and help push for stricter gun laws once the dead started showing up. That wasn't suppose to get out to the public, either.

The air distance between Tripoli and Benghazi is 400 miles. The air distance from Aviano to Benghazi is 1043.76 miles.

Yes, gaijin. It was apparantly a USG state-sponosred assassination of our very own diplo and security personnel there on the ground, through lack of action. And these chucks in D.C. heard those blood-curdling pleas and read those emergency broadcast alerts (request for Commander in Extremis rescue action), and then simply went to bed with a clear conscience somehow, one of them even heading out to Vegas early the next day for a Democratic campaign fundraiser! (His Emminence, "The One"). Somebody VERY senior put two and two together and panicked, figuring a) we are way too close Election Day with this Romney on our heels, and b) if what those four in the field know breaks out, we are in deep sh*t. So they ignored their pleas on purpose, and arranged a Death by Rabid Terrorist conclusion on the whole matter (smuggling weapons to Syria in link with al-Qaeda, al-Qaeda affiliated people serving as (ironically) guards to our diplomatic staff in Libya. The whole thing stinks to high heaven and all I want to shout toward the White House and Foggy Bottom is: "Bastards!" And part of my wrath is reserved for our corrupt, discredited, biased American MSM as well. They've been material cover up actors in this charade for months on end as well, part and parcel of the whole corrupt and unethical system.

——The admin WANTED those people dead-——

I don’t think so. I think the administration was like Hitler’s Germany. They were unable to make decisions without authority from above.

The problem is that there was no one above willing to make a decision. The process is called dithering. Before the dithering could end, the decision to act was no longer necessary. The people were dead.
