Well, here’s a new statistic for “Cinco de Mayo”:

The record low for May in my small town in east Alabama was 41 degrees. This morning at 5:31 AM it was 38.2 degrees.

Amazingly cold. I had to turn the a/c off and turn the heat back on.

Arkansas got its first ever May snow accumulation last week.

Many locations throughout the Nation had record lows.
