There seem to be ads all over the TV nowadays for disability claim lawyers. They are as prevalent and as bad as those for ambulance-chaser lawyers.

those attorneys all encourage lying and cheating. I firmly believe at least half of the WC disabilities I dealt with in the 80’s didn't happen at the plant at all. They were well coached by these attorneys. We did thorough pre-employment physicals getting baselines for hearing. We were sued by the government several times for employment practices, but we won all of them, at least, on my watch.
