When did we reach a point where we’re not just tolerant of homosexuality, but we activly celebrate and push homosexuality?

When did it become cool to be homosexual?

Tolerance is one thing, active expressed approval and celebration is something else altogether. Clearly we are at a point where homosexuality is celebrated.

“Tolerance is one thing, active expressed approval and celebration is something else altogether. Clearly we are at a point where homosexuality is celebrated.”

Years ago they claimed all they wanted was mere tolerance, but that was a lie because they aren’t satisfied with tolerance, they want explicit approval of their homosexuality.

But even approval isn’t what they really want, indeed need. What they need most is something we cannot give them. What they long for most of all is a balm for their souls. They want to quiet the inner man that accuses them. Deep down every single homosexual knows what he is doing is a violation of God’s moral order. Just as no has to be told it is wrong to murder, no one has to be told gay is sin. When a homosexual puts his head on his pillow at night he knows that feature of his life by which he characterizes himself is SIN and it will always be thus, regardless of how decadent we become as a society, regardless of societal celebrations of their “lifetstyle.”

They may effectively shut down open disapproval of gay in society, but they will never shut down disapproval of gay within themselves.

The article to which I linked in reply #44 makes the same point that you do.
