IMHO, it would peak out far under that simply due to any opportunity being so diluted it won’t be worth the immigration. We are already seeing a slow down as construction and other immigrant (illegal and legal) heavy jobs are down.

So who told you illegal immigration is down? The Obama Administration? Don’t believe it.
That would be true if this was a free market. But when they get free education, food, healthcare, etc. whether they work or not they will come.
