What makes me think there is a whole lot more to this is the LE source saying that the surviving brother/bomber stated “The bombs were ready earlier than expected”? What did the 2 guys do put in a order at Bombs-R-US like you order a birthday cake? That is really weird. From what I have read they were instrumental in the building of these devices implying control over the construction process and they didn't use unstable compounds with a short use time window like TATP.
They also moved up their strike date from July 4th which would have been a far better date to strike for maximum PR terror effect. Its like someone in the back ground made the bombs for them to use and the 2 brothers and their school buddies were just the operations team/fall guys. I believe something happened to cause the real drivers in this operation to become rushed for time and plan “B” went into effect. Its just not being let out who are the real shadow players are and the “talented amateurs” pulled the attack off earlier than planned and are taking the heat.
Why were they in Malden, MA the night before with the bombs in the back packs? Who did they visit in Malden? Why isn’t the FBI all over Malden Square?
Plan "A" was to place the blame on a White male Christian Tea Party type. Remember when they said they had made an arrest and the press had staked out the court house then suddenly there was a phony bomb scare, the court house was evacuated and that story fell down the memory hole? I think the local cops arrested the real perps but the Feds swooped and put an end to that real quick.
