White House Press Secretary Jay Carney, deflecting criticism over the Libya terror attack, argued Wednesday that "Benghazi happened a long time ago."
But despite the nearly eight months that have elapsed since then, the FBI is only now producing photos of individuals they'd like to bring in for questioning.
The release of the grainy images comes as the House plans another Benghazi hearing next week. It also comes after Fox News reported that U.S. officials have identified the mastermind of the attack, who according to sources is walking free in Libya.
Coincidence? Yes, according to the FBI.

People should go to prison for Benghazi. If it ever comes to pass(which I doubt), ill bet Jay Carney pulls a John Dean..

Benghazi: 8 months after the fact, first pics of “persons of interest” are released.
Only 2 choice to me: (1) public and media pressures cause the FBI to finally inch forward; (2) White House and Justice Dept. don’t care as much about our diplomatic and military members as they say.
Actually, I think both are true - neither is false.
It would be hard to name a single agency of government that has gone unpoliticized by the current WH occupants.

in 08 when his henchmen were moving into position, there was a story that they were in the process of placing one of his operatives into every agency of consequence to effect direction and control. The story, as I recall, mentioned the DOD in particular. Anyone else remember?

(1)(a) Public and media pressures cause the WH to tell the FBI to find some old, generic file photos of some people who look like they could be middle eastern protestors but are unidentifiable (or they know the people are long since dead), and release the photos in some contrived effort to appear that they know something or care about any resolution to Benghazi.
