Apparently from twitter reports this guy committed suicide at the airport
Thank God it wasn’t a tea pot or a pressure cooker.
So let me get this right ...
A guy enters what is generally considered a gun-free zone (an airport) with an AR-15 and a handgun of some sort. He fires off 2 rounds from the AR, immediately drawing fire from an armed air marshal. Even though the air marshal misses, the attempt is apparently enough to cause the perp to pull his handgun and kill himself on the spot.
Tell me again why armed folks are bad and gun-free zones are good?
One person has been shot dead at Terminal B of Bush Intercontinental Airport, according to the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.
Houston Police Department spokeswoman Jodi Silva said that an armed male suffered at least one gunshot wound at 1:35 p.m. Thursday near a ticket counter in the pre-screening area of Terminal B.
The man walked in with an AR-15 and fired it into the air, according to KHOU. An air marshal confronted the gunman, who shot himself in the head, the station reports.
Well, it is clear.
We must ban airports.
The report I see says that the man shot himself and that a sky marshal fired upon the man with the gun but missed.
There is also news of a critically injured bystander. Don’t know if the man with the gun or the sky marshal shot him/her.
Local Fox has someone affiliated with the network that just happened to be going through the airport at the time. She was able to talk with someone from the United ticket counter. He told her that he noticed that the “suspect” had been sitting in a nearby chair for at least a couple of hours before he started the initial gunshots. I wonder who he expected to be coming off a flight in terminal B?
Oh how convenient, a conspiracy in the making... Key words, Bush International, Texas and AR-15. A gun grabbers wet dream.
‘Think I went through Terminal B into and out of GSP.
So THAT’s why they call it a terminal!
And yet, none of our Dear Leaders will address the row after row of sitting ducks, waiting for their opportunity to perform the Compliance Shuffle at our airports.
