Oh God, I’m so sorry. I think I’d rather live in Durham than Chapel Hill. The level of self-satisfied liberal smug in CH is just too much for me to bear.
I lived in Tuscaloosa-Lakewood, I think that neighborhood adjoins Duke Forest. Nice enough people, very diverse in every way but worldview. Almost 100% bonehead liberal, a real weird mixture of Duke staff, normal working people who had become Obamazombies, illegal aliens up in the Chapel Hill Road corridor, and ethnic drug-dealer types (mainly confined to one apartment complex).
I live in Kannapolis now, a place with REAL diversity. Not only diversity of skin color and income, but diversity of thought.
