A bit of a change from Duke’s (mostly) Methodist roots, eh?
Duke’s motto (since 1859) is Eruditio et Religio (Knowledge and Religion). Can’t help wondering what religion Duke thinks it has today (it sure ain’t Christianity....)?
Wonder how the Duke Divinity School feels about this....
