Watergate was a creature of a media that hated Nixon and wanted to oust him. The media are in full protection mode for Obama - as they were for Clinton, a person who was disbarred because of his perjury. The media will not permit this to turn into another Watergate. That’s not cynicism. That’s reality.

That much, he can guarantee.

Again I ask, "How?" What power does he hold?

Let’s put it on you.
Why do you think he can’t?

The media hated Nixon. Yes, they did. However, he had achieved a landslide victory, which only doubled the hatred. But, he and his lieutenants let paranoia consume them and crossed the line into criminality.

He overplayed his hand. History is repeating.

It is REALLY time for the “conservative” media people to step up to the plate and report that they were threatened regarding Obama’s eligibility. There is an overwhelming pattern, and if they are to be protected by the strength in numbers, this is the time for them to expose what this lawless regime has done, and put it right out into the open so the whole country can see it. Because of what Toensing has revealed about the government’s treatment of her and her clients, the story of media manipulation would have new urgency and credibility.

They need to do this. The whistleblowers at the CIA and/or FBI (who have given information to Glenn Beck and to 10 members of Congress including Louie Gohmert - I don’t know the others - about Alhamdi/Hamza being known as a terrorist, and somebody singlehandedly changing that classification) are risking 20 years in prison in order to bring out the truth for the good of the country. The Benghazi witnesses are risking their careers. It’s time for the Glenn Becks and Sean Hannity’s to come out and say what one of them already signed a document to Doug Hagmann saying - that their LIVES were threatened if they reported on Obama’s eligibility.

Mike Zullo of the Cold Case Posse has confirmed that these threats were made and knows of at least one person who fled the country in fear for her and her child’s life.

And these people need to know that when they lose their anonymity, they become more physically safe, because people would know something was fishy if something happened to them after they came forward. That’s why Larry Sinclair is still alive but the other people who were said to have had gay sex with Obama are dead. Sinclair spoke publicly so they can’t touch him; the others were killed before they could speak out publicly.

Career-wise, Congress had BETTER live up to the legal requirements to provide protection (from retaliation) to whistleblowers. And we need to hold their feet to the fire over that.

The story about the military guy who was demoted because he told the truth about jihad in an internal memo.... needs to be brought out and Congress needs to throw the book at the top brass that RETALIATED against that guy for doing what is right. Time for Congress to realize that they need to hold these jerks in the regime accountable, because the rest of us have no power to do so.

It’s not a matter of guilt or innocence. It’s a matter of a corrupt media that will not allow Obama to be Watergated even if he is caught in the White House kitchen manufacturing pressure cooker bombs. The media will protect Obama at all cost.

I refuse to join the cynicism that seems to rule this board. I vividly remember Watergate. No one saw that coming until the bombs started exploding.

Yes, but Watergate was a Republican. Can't compare the two.

You made a statement.

I asked a question about your statement.

You then ask me to defend my question?

Weak, very weak....

As to WHY he can’t.... as a Representative, he holds NO LEGAL POWER to hire, fire or retain employees of the CIA, DoD and/or the diplomatic corps. If I am wrong, kindly enlighten me.

If everybody “moves on” nothing will ever change - and America’s very existence is at question; we’re in a critical, critical time.

Somebody needs to step out and expose the whole machine in all its putridity. And there is some safety in numbers.

I don’t know what happened with you (I’d love to hear about it either on the board or privately) but if it was before Ted Cruz was elected and Rand Paul found his balls, it might be that we’ve got new courage to work with - fresh blood that’s not yet spoiled by the DC cesspool. And if so, now is the perfect time for a LOT of people in various situations to come forward (see my last post) - while the threats and seriousness of the regime’s wrong-doing are alive in our minds, and before these people become as slimy as the folks who have been in DC too long.

I just saw a photo of the 8-year-old who was killed in the Boston bombing, waiting for his dad. He looked so innocent and trusting, and the thought of a kid waiting eagerly to see his dad... it reminds me of how satanists and molesters most want to defile that which is pure. The love between a father and son is pure, and our enemies want to defile and destroy that.

I have one question for Michelle Obama: When you were told that Alhamdi was Hamza the son of Osama Bin Laden and went to “comfort” him in the hospital, did you give him a fist bump for the great work he did in killing that 8-year-old boy waiting to see his dad cross the finish line?

If we let scum like this go unchecked we are letting the whole idea of father-son, family love die with that 8-year-old. We must NOT give in to cynicism and go silent. We HAVE to fight. Too much is at stake. If we don’t rise up in response to Boston, we will soon have Beslan.

Does he have the power to appoint an independent investigation into the violation of whistleblower protection laws? Does he have the power to impeach the cabinet member under whom the retaliation has occurred?

It’s time for us to stop playing softball. If we don’t have the power to enforce laws, they may as well not exist. This lawless regime is thumbing its nose at everything this country is supposedly about. If we let them get away with it, then this country has never really been about those things at all.

IOW, it’s time for us to decide who and what we are. If we are gutless and if real accountability to the law doesn’t exist, then this country is over and all the squawking about is just the flopping of a chicken that’s already had its head chopped off.

Just like they protected them that night. Just like they protected Boston. Just like they’ve been protecting America for the past 4.5 years.

United States Office of the Independent Counsel was an independent prosecutor — distinct from the Attorney General of the United States Department of Justice — that provided reports to the Congress under 28 U.S.C. § 595. The office was terminated in 1999 and replaced by the U.S. Department of Justice Office of Special Counsel.

Apparently, three from the State Dept and one from CIA are beyond the point of being able to anonymously walk away. The democrips know who they are now so they may as well share the truth and hope it matters to We The People enough to hold our representatives’ feet to the fire to protect these patriots.

I dare say that we Patriots better offer protection.
Or we will soon have nothing to protect.

But independent investigations can be authorized by Congress. That’s what Sheriff Joe has been asking Congress to do in regards to Obama’s forgery, fraud, and perjury issues.

This SC Rep was talking about how important it is to not let kids grade their own papers, and how non-credible the State Dept finding the State Dept innocent is. He knows that we have to bypass the regime in order to get anything even vaguely resembling the truth.

The inspectors general are supposed to be independent as well, although Obama has totally trampled that whole process. For instance, with Gerald Walpin and about 4 other IG’s. That should all be revisited as well.

Somebody needs to lay out all these dots so people can see the picture: this regime is lawless and is undoing everything that America is.

..... this regime is lawless and is undoing everything that America is.

That is absolutely correct. The game has been rigged... and not only by THIS administration. I personally see no peaceable way around it. We are past the tipping point. America no longer has a government of, by and for the people (citizens)

One of the limitations of the Cold Case Posse is that they don’t have a witness protection program. The feds do. If there was a special investigator assigned, he/she should be equipped with the power to offer witness protection.

The media people need to work with Congress to get a special investigator appointed, so the witnesses can be given bodyguards and the story can come out and be dealt with. Because to be truthful, none of these other issues will go anywhere in the media if the FCC and/or FEC are used as a threat to silence the “conservative”/opposition media. The whole process of accountability goes down the drain - except to the point that the foreign media is willing to actually perform journalism.
