Yup. He blew it. One-party rule came back to bite him. He got what he wanted but it wasn’t what he needed.
Same with Weiner: People are going to hear about the amount they will have to fork over to satisfy the 6-to-1 ratio of matching funds and it could be the end of matching funds as well as of Weiner.
