Why in the world didn’t the intended victim shoot him? It was all caught on tape, and would have been perfectly justified self-defense in any court of law. And another worthless predator permanently off the streets.

I doubt either one knew they were on camera at the time the incedent took place.

Because once he took the weapon away, the bad guy was unarmed and running away...no longer a threat.
