I have no knowledge of this, but my guess is that the GOP-e leadership is against any hearings or activity by the House members that would ruffle the feathers of Obozo the inept clown illegally residing in the White Hut. I think the leadership - so called - put an end to the hearings once they get too close to the fire. Fast and Furious anyone?
