Thanks for post 17. I have read the trilogy. I will now order “Castigo Cay.”
Matt is a fantastic writer, an author who can keep you riveted to the story he presents. His insights into what could happen to this country are frightening, because they are more than plausible.

No sure about a series of movies, full-length with big production. Maybe a series of well-advertised YouTube videos, or short movies. Likely much, much cheaper, as well as probably easier to make.

Good luck with those books to whatever sheriff is responsible for NYC. They’ll probably call the FBI on you.

Seriously, Matt, thanks for reminding people, whether with a graphic, your novels, essays, or posts, that freedom requires eternal vigillance and, on occasion, sacrifice.
I just wish we could get more people to wake up.
Keep up the great work FRiend!

Amen! I have known Matt for quite awhile. We struck up our friendship HERE on FR and we've even managed to meet a few times socially and grow closer. When he was writing EFAD he would often ask me questions on the army side of things. Little stuff because he wanted to "get things right." I always answered those questions no matter how detailed and intricate, or not. If I didn't know an answer I spoke to one of my buddies who was still on active duty.
Matt was a SEAL officer, I was an infantry officer it's just something you do for a brother. When he published he called me and gleefully told me: "Welcome to the enemies list!" I didn't get the joke until I read his last book and saw that my name (my REAL name) is listed on all three of the EFAD trilogy in the acknowledgements section at the front of the book. ~SIGH~
He is everything you've said here and more. I thank GOD for who he is and the other men like him. Because God knows, we're likely going to need them all before this thing is over. You know what I really liked about the trilogy? The fact that all the good guys were mostly in their 40's 50's and 60's. Not some young green beret or SEAL with a RAMBO complex. These guys had issues. Real "guy stuff" we're all suffering as we age. Yet they're not infirm, either. You definitely wouldn't want to mess with them.
I also liked the way he used a female as a main protagonist and empowered her to take action in a real and meaningful manner. Because all of us old guys also usually have a better half without whom we would all be lost.
