This would be true if Jackie Robinson had waited until he was a 36 year old free agent to tell the world he was Black.

You are right on target there (with the caveat that there was no free agency in baseball when Robinson's career was finished). That analogy is an insult to Robinson's legacy as well.

Didn't see that comparison in the posted article, so please tell me who was quoted as comparing Collins to Robinson.
