After reading all the glowing kudos to this no-body homosexual yesterday, one can surmise that sports journalists are unduly fascinated by homosexuals in sports.

I think this guy is a fraud. he was washed up in Basketball and now has found a new way to make big bucks. I heard he has 2 illigitimate children. That’s not many for an NBA player, but it kind of contradicts his Gay claim.

I am a HUGE sports fan, but this whole Collins affair has really turned me off. I’m beginning to re-think my sports “addiction”.
I made the comment on a site that I go on that I don’t care about Collins’ orientation, and was called a name by one poster, and saw that it was generally accepted and praised by just about every other poster on that site.
I love sports. Love to play them, love to watch them...but we are lifting these guys up to some level of worship. I don’t do that personally, but we as a society do that. It’s really turned me off.
You know, most of us, in fact, almost all of us, wish to keep our bedroom activities to ourselves. This bunch of homo saps relish in the exhibition of their deviant mores perhaps to gain some sort of approval. None coming from here. Keep your sexual identity to yourself and you will get no grief from me. Do otherwise, and expect public distain.
The only question a real sport’s fan cares about is can a player help his team get to the playoffs and/or go deep into the playoffs. Other than that I don’t give a rip what they do on their own time....

With regard to the assertion that Jason “is just like Jackie Robinson”.
This would be true if Jackie Robinson had waited until he was a 36 year old free agent to tell the world he was Black.
I really, honestly, truly, and sincerely do not care one bit who he is sleeping with, who he is marrying, and who he is cheating on or with. I just want to see the athletes performing well as a team, and beating whatever East or West Coast club is in town this week. That’s all. Can we please just get back to the sports, and let the Gay Lobby crow about their fabulous sex lives in their own circles once again?
