Don’t forget how the left is also treating 911 mastermind Khalid Sheik Mohammed, falling over themselves (especially Obama and Holder) to get him tried as a citizen with full constitutional rights rather than tried in a military tribunal. Why? So he has a better chance at freedom. A leftist judge could quite easily dismiss the case due to lack of a speedy trial or torture allegation which is exactly what they want.
Having 12 jurors decide is not a leftist topic. Whether it’s Jared Lee Loughner, this terrorist, etc. please don’t make a scene over this terrorist having a jury decide. Hopefully the jury will convict him & he’ll either get death penalty or life without parole. Military court should only be for those in military service accused of committing crimes-UCMJ but even here, it’s my view that people in military service accused of crime should have choice to either have military court or non-military court decide their fate.
