Friends of mine pay $12,000 a year in property taxes just for a small house on Long Island. And that’s just property taxes and don’t even get me started on New York city, which besides having to deal with it being run under a despot, you constantly constantly have the city doing everything they can to steal every last cent from you. I moved out last year, I couldn’t take it anymore. I was working basically to support the city and in return I get this psychotic despotic midget dictating to me on almost every aspect of my life.
