Antiabortion group releases videos of clinic workers discussing [how they kill] live births

An antiabortion group that mounted a six-month undercover investigation has released videos this week that raise questions about what might happen to a baby as a result of an unsuccessful abortion.

One video features a D.C. doctor, Cesare Santangelo, who said that in the unlikely event that an abortion resulted in a live birth, “we would not help it.” Santangelo was answering repeated questions from an undercover operative about what would happen, hypothetically, if she gave birth after an unsuccessful abortion.

“I mean, technically, you know, legally, we would be obligated to help it, you know, to survive, but . . . it probably wouldn’t,” Santangelo is shown telling the woman, who was 24 weeks pregnant. “It’s all in how vigorously you do things to help a fetus survive at this point.”

Live Action president Lila Rose said the group’s videos expose “truly gruesome, illegal and inhuman practices.” She defended the tactics, saying undercover investigations are a powerful method to expose abuses.

Live Action plans to release more videos as part of a campaign targeting clinics that perform abortions late in pregnancy, also known as “late-term” abortions. It claims that the videos show that abortion doctors are willing to kill babies in violation of the federal Born-Alive Infants Protection Act of 2002, which requires them to try to save a child born during a failed abortion using the same measures used in miscarriages or preterm births at the same stage of pregnancy.

Another video released Sunday shows an unidentified worker in the Bronx saying the clinic would put the baby in a jar of “solution” that would cause it to stop breathing.

Grim, but necessary. May The Lord have mercy upon us.

With every one of these stories, the credibility of legal abortion preventing the equivalent of “back alley abortions” crumbles yet further.

I’m literally lightheaded after reading. No way i;’m watching. In a solution? State sanctioned murder. People against the death penalty protest outside abortion clinics?

So true, Carry_Okie. What is legal abortion protecting us from exactly?

Did you read the last sentence? The doctor in DC called the pro-lifers terrorists.

Antiabortion : Antilife :: ProChoice : Prolife

Use it.

Political correctness is a form of the Antichrist, as told to me by an intelligent priest in good standing with the Catholic Church.

Do not fall for it.

It’s not “state sanctioned,” since it violates the Born-Alive Infants’ Protection Act. But a law has to be enforced in order to mean anything.

If he’s terrified of Hell and the pro lifers are reminding him that’s where he’s going for ever with no parole eternity then, ok, but it is not they it is Hell itself that’s terrorizing, and, by the way, the only true terror.

People against the death penalty protest outside abortion clinics?

I've found myself pondering that exact same question in recent days. Do the same people who protested so vigorously against the death penalty intend to do so outside abortion clinics?

Very recently Gov. O'Malley signed into law a ban on all death penalties here in MD. So I foud myself wondering "Will those people I know for a fact demonstrated every week outside the penitentiary against capital punishment FINALLY join those praying outside abortion "clinics" here?" They do at least call themselves "Catholic" after all.

Something tells me they won't. Which disgusts me to no end (I'm Catholic).

What also “crumbles” is a previous view of doctors as being interested in preserving human life. What also crumbles is the idea that human beings are kind and merciful to children. Abortion has resulted in humans being seen as evil destructive entities who are no longer trustworthy in the capacity of baby protectors. 50 years ago abortion would have been seen as the evil demoralizing thing it really is. God help us all.

Abortion was one of the “crimes against humanity” cited at Nuremberg. People who would watch an infant born alive struggle until dead have the same mentality as Nazis herding people into gas chambers or Bolsheviks lining people up for firing squads: they really think they are saving the world.

Sometimes the best ways are the old ways...

When if a mother wanted to kill her child she would strangle it with her own two hands after it was born instead of outsourcing her sin to a disinterested third party so that she may wash her hands from the sins....

From a previous response of mine:

Make Abortion Illegal..

Then....

Legalize Infanticide as long as it is performed by the mother, withing one day of birth, and can only be done bare handed by strangling....

Having a doctor basically do the same thing is taking the responsibility out of the hands of the mother and putting it onto the doctor. Put the responsibility back into the hands of the mother. By literally putting them back into the hands of the mother.

This is how you really make “abortion a rare thing” as the Pro-Abortion morons were whining about before roe v wade judicial overreach.

Abortion is nothing more but the “Outsourcing of Mortal Sin”

So if a mother doesn’t want the child, she has two choices, give it away with no questions asked, or strangle it with her own hand within 24 hours of it being born.

We have turned Doctors into mockery of the “do no harm” by outsourcing this sin....

I know is sounds brutal and inhumane and immoral, but we sanitize the whole act of abortion by outsourcing it to doctors and pretending that the mother are doing nothing but ordering a hit on their children....

Abortion appears no where in the Constitution. Yet we’re told it’s a right that has to be protected.

If our government protected guns the way they protect abortion you would see:

1) Courts striking down all gun legislation.
2) Media would refuse to air any real arguments against guns. Moreover, Hollywood media heroes would fight against out of control gun regulators.
3) Government would fight any attempts at registering, regulating or tracking fire arms.
4) Laws banning the transport of guns over state borders would be thrown out.
5) People under the age of 18 could buy guns without their parents consent or knowledge.
6) The government would be supplying us all with guns and ammo, regardless of how poor you are.
7) Our schools would teach about guns and gun safety.
8) The government would crack down on protesters outside of gun stores.
9) All gun store records and receipts would be protected from outsiders on the grounds of “privacy”.

Note that most guns never kill or injure anyone.

Most abortions result in someone dying.

People injured or killed by guns include a large age range from 1 year old to 100 years old. Some of these people are injured because they are doing bad things.

People injured or killed by abortion include those who are 9 months and younger. The only crime they are committing is not being out of the womb.

***MORE CHILDREN DIE TO ABORTION EVERY YEAR THAN GUNS***

But no one talks about regulating abortion.
