The legality of abortion undermines and delegitimizes the entire criminal justice system in my opinion. Agreed.
I'm of the opinion that Roe v. Wade is one of the worst decisions of all time because of this, but also it was the Supreme Court's first venture into creating new law out of whole cloth by inventing some "right to privacy" which, oddly, only applies in abortion -- it would be interesting if someone built a case against Obamacare based on the RvW privacy-right: force them to choose one to get rid of.
