I recently visited for the first time. I believe absolutely EVERYONE needs to see this museum at least once.

Especially since that generation who survived it is about to pass on, clearing the field for the global holocaust deniers that infest the globe. It will most certainly happen again if people are allowed to forget.

Elie Wiesel was on my mother’s paper route when I was a kid. When I used to go with her to collect payments, we used to sit with him and he would tell us stories from the war. He is by far the most immeasurably good person I’ve ever met. I will never forget the time I spent with him as a kid.

The museum is amazing. I entered when it opened in the morning. Most people where flying by me to glance at various exhibits. I watched all the films and absorbed everything I could. It took nearly 6 hours to go through it all.

One video talked about how Hitler foretold everything he planned to do, but no one believed him because the plans were too outrageous. It reminded me of today's Iran nutcase.
