There is nothing “double action” about a Glock. WTF are people talking about?

“..There is nothing “double action” about a Glock. WTF are people talking about?...”

Pistols can be SA or DA/SA. 1911s are usually SA only whereas many of today’s pistols are DA/SA. There is no external hammer and the first shot can be fired simply by pulling the trigger, like a DA revolver, and every shot after that is SA mode. Google DA/SA pistols for more info.
Actually, Glock’s term for their pistols is “Safe Action” Glock pistols are equipped with their “Safe Action”® System, a fully automatic safety system consisting of three passive, independently operating, mechanical safeties, which sequentially disengage when the trigger is pulled and automatically reengage when the trigger is released.
Go to the Glock webpage, under technology section, look at Safe Action for actual diagrams of how they work. Heck, I’ve carried a SA 1911 Commander “cocked & locked” for years. Carrying one in the tube of a Glock is my preferred method of carry....no racking of slide, just point and shoot. It’s my original “point & click” device.
