Here’s the problem....The CIA dude should possess “gut” instincts.

The more information that comes out about these people, the more it resembles the story line of The Americans on FX.

The general public will probably never know, but there is likely much more to this story and the 'family' and the web of deception.

“Graham E. Fuller is a former vice chairman of the National Intelligence Council at the CIA, a former senior political scientist at RAND, and a current adjunct professor of history at Simon Fraser University. He is the author of numerous books about the Middle East, including The Future of Political Islam. He has lived and worked in the Muslim world for nearly two decades.”

And yet...

As far as we know the uncle never hurt anyone and
is the only one to denounce the two.

He let the agency 26 years ago. The uncle lived in the house 1 year, and after he retired 4 years earlier.

Interesting story, but hardly relevant.

Interesting tidbit from the article:

“FBI agents today said they had tracked down Misha and believed he had no link to the terror attacks.”

Any verification of this? Considering the source, here...

Bullshyte. The religious element is self-evident to anyone with common sense.

My, my....how conveeeenient. Our so-called “national security” apparatus is laughable.

If you want to be secure, get your own weapons.

I’m beginning to think I’m watching a spin-off series from the FX TV series, The Americans.

Graham Fuller

Son of the very conservative 1950s literary critic Edmund Fuller.

Answer to scrabblehack and Gen.blather from the other thread....

Scrabblehack,

They don’t like too close an association with “foreign nationals”.

Gen.blather,

Yes it WOULD have to be reported!

The posts for reference:

I’ve not worked for CIA....but can he keep his security clearance? At least the marriage would trigger an inquiry (or at least it used to).

Also sharing a residence with someone has to be declared to the security office too (I’m talking DoD here but so far as I know CIA was stricter).

Former CIA officer: ‘Absurd’ to link uncle of Boston suspects, Agency

Retired CIA officer Graham Fuller confirmed to Al-Monitor Saturday that his daughter was previously married to an uncle of the suspects in the Boston Marathon attacks, but called rumors of any links between the uncle and the Agency “absurd.”
