See now, this is where the author gets off the track. Gov't believe they CAN make things up if it supports their position. Things will be so much easier when we understand that individual rights are what the gov't says they are, not what's written on some dusty document by dead white people. There are no rights any more, only penumbras created by legal fiat, to be enforced or nullified as needed.
