The Boston Marathon bombings and their impact on immigration policy framed a discussion organized by Centro Presente Friday on police hostility, immigrant rights, and the necessity of grassroots and community organizing.
An immigrant rights organization based in Somerville, Centro Presente held the community conversation in partnership with the National Alliance of Latin American and Caribbean Communities. NALACC is a Latino-led organization based in Chicago that works for betterment of the Latin American community in the U.S. and abroad.
The event reflected the anxiety among some in immigrant communities that the Marathon bombings would lead to a backlash against immigrants and possibly endanger legislation on Capitol Hill to overhaul the nation's immigration system and create a pathway to citizenship for the 11 million unauthorized immigrants already here....

Perhaps they should worry about their rights in their own country and try to fix them there instead of coming here and stealing from American taxpayers. I do not owe them a living, nor do I wish to pay for some lazy jerk to come here for welfare.
There are no African Americans or Latino Americans, there are just Americans. What have illegals done to better this country. More hospitals and clinics have closed. They scam EBT. They get section 8 and before you know it there is more crime and another project ti deal with. What money they make under the table here gets sent to the very country they left. So how do they consider that helping.
They can go back to their own country and fix it instead of leeching off mine!

That would never happen seeing their main advocate, the Muslim-in-Chief sits on his throne in the WH. They don’t want to be productive citizens, they want the freebies and the liberals want the votes.
How do you create chaos in a country? You deplete it’s resources by letting illegals in and giving them freebies that other people have to work for and overwork it’s producing citizens to the point of where they have no energy to contest. Then you can advance your agendas without any obstructions.

Has anybody figured out that this sort of thing goes on all the time in Israel? There, the sheep do not stand docile and polite in the pens. They turn into fierce rams and batter down the interloper.

I just think that I saw that Marco Rube was such a doofus when he bounced over for that little bottle of water.
He had just finished doing that speech on camera in Spanish. He had just finished a 20 minute speech before going on in front of the SOTU audience, plus conservatives tuning in After BO). Rubio did this for his Spanish Speaking constituents. Never mind that if you can’t speak English or don’t know anyone who can translate it for you, you can’t vote.
It WAS a big deal. It’s like Beck. He goes on O’Reilly and bounces around saying “uh, um, uh, uh”, and he wants others to make his case for him, “Oh he’s right , he really knows. . .” but he can’t find the humility to go take a speech class.
Rubio has his priorities messed up. He’s all the dems need to get their legislation passed because conservatives Want Rubio to be loyal.
He is not. He’s helping with their destruction and he is unqualified to be a Republican Senator.
Is there something more to that photo of him with that girl from the Benghazi scandal?
It is up to us to fix it. People like Rubio (and many others) run, not because they want to help their constituents but because they have their eyes on the prize. The presidency. Once they get in office all of the things they promised go down the drain. The voting public are no longer needed until the next election, and once again we follow along with good intentions only to be slapped down again.
Rubio has his agenda. If he is re-elected the people only have themselves to blame.
Just wait until people learn how much $$$ the whole family got from welfare..
