The FBI is not a stand-alone agency. The DOJ has oversight of the FBI, always has. And, as has always been, the DOJ can shut down any FBI investigation.
This is true.
So.... why the big ruckus ? Why did DOJ use a 'patsy' judge and why is the FBI throwing a public fit ?
