If the Republican controlled Florida legislature and governor approve the proposed bills, then the residents of Miami-Dade WILL VOTE on whether they will be responsible for subsidizing the improvements to Dolphin Stadium.

The team is running commercials saying taxpayers won't pay for it..."tourists" will, because the money is supposed to come from a hotel tax.

Except the money "tourists" spend is volatile and the money spent on the increased taxes WON'T be spent on other goods and services.

More corporate welfare...why don't the Dolphins ask some of their celebrity owners to chip in?

The LIV’s will vote for it, rest assured. It boggles the mind. But most of the LIV’s get some form of govmint check and do not care where the money comes from.

You won’t stop it. We had Republicans in charge of both houses of the Minnesota Legislature last year and they caved in to build the Vikings a a new taxpayer-financed playground.

Please accept my sympathies ina dvance.

What's wrong with Sun Life (Joe Robbie) Stadium...

It was build in 1987...good for another 20 years at least...

Seating capacity is 75,000...how about filling it up before building another one

If building and maintaining a stadium or arena was proiftable, the professional sports teams would insist on building and paying for their own facilities.

Why don’t they ask Sun Life to pay for the overhaul of Sun Life Stadium?
