if its my one complaint against the DP its that its far too quick....I'd prefer something a little more meaningful to the animal....

but, we put them in a solitary cell, and they can have computer use and library use so they can "research" their appeals....they get 3 square meals and a change of sheets...then they die pretty damn quick and get to make nasty evil statements while they go down.....

The State of Texas Dept of Corrections maintains a website where you can,among other things,see the last statements of those about to be executed.Not all of them make a statement and some state,at that last moment,that they're innocent and/or that the DP is barbaric but a surprising percentage of them acknowledge their guilt and express remorse for what they did.Just google “Texas death row” and you'll find the link to the website.It's really pretty interesting.
