Then we conservatives need to take over the Republican Party from the precinct level on up. I watched the Pat Robertson folks do exactly that in Iowa in 1987-88.

Agree. We need to complete our takeover of the party from within. I will do what I can on the local level to further that process. There may be a time in near future to go third party. If immigration reform in its current form passes, our party will likely split up. One of two more election cycles after amnesty and the Republicans would no longer be viable on the national level.
